" وَإِنْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا عِنْدَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَعْلُومٍ"
“And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And We sand it not down save in appointed measure.” [Al-Hijr/20]
And He is saying about the spread of His words:
" قُلْ لَوْ كَانَ الْبَحْرُ مِدَادًا لِكَلِمَاتِ رَبِّي لَنَفِدَ الْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَنْفَدَ كَلِمَاتُ رَبِّي وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهِ مَدَدًا"
“Say: Though the sea became ink for the Words of my Lord, verily the sea would be used up before the Words of my Lord were exhausted, even though We brought the like thereof to help.” [Al-Kahf/109]
Consequently, believing in interruption of divine guidance and finality of messengers mean considering God’s infinite science and wisdom as limit and it also means that God has caused every science in His science and wisdom treasury to be appeared and has nothing else to teach to human beings!
It should be answered to these sophists:
1) Regarding the first verse you mentioned, it should be answered that the verses before and after it indicating the creation of human beings and giving daily bread and don’t indicate the His infinity science. Supposing treasures mean the Lord science, this verse directs your claim falseness; because God has stated at the end of the verse that these treasures are being sent down in appointed measure.
2) Regarding the word “کلمات: words” in the second verse which you meant it as the divine science, it should be said that God has used this word in other meanings. As God has mentioned Jesus Christ (P.H.) as word. Or God has mentioned testing the Excellency Abraham (P.H.) as words or in other cases. God has assumed His words as the means for his right to be proved to be true or in other cases, He has introduced things except the divine books as word (:کلمات).
3) Considering finality as equal to the Lord’s words is a great mistake. How can Baha’is accuse the believers of finality without having any proof?! According to Baha’i belief, if God has to learn all of His sciences to human beings, there won’t be any distinction between creator and creatures?! Is human being resemble to the Almighty God to be able to receive all divine sciences?!
4) Baha’is believe that finality means ending and limiting divine sciences; while according to Shiite finality means what is needed for human guidance has been given to the holy prophet (P.H.) and the holy Imams (peace be upon them) and the continuity of the divine mercy and bestowing sciences to human beings is done by the holy Imams. So, citing the holy Imam’s traditions, the Shiites believe that the Almighty God hasn’t relinquish human beings without guide even for a moment. As Imam Sadeq (P.H.) has stated:
"لَوْ لَمْ یَبْقِ فیِ الارضِ اِلَّا اِثْنَانِ لَکانَ اَحَدُهُما الحُجَّهُ عَلی صاحِبِه"
“If there weren’t anybody on the earth except for two people, one of them will be God’s proof for the other.”
